There is a real sense of wildness and of time stood still in this landscape. The Stonehenge bluestones were quarried from a crag facing the property, lending this place a wonderful feeling of ancientness. The fact that this is all in the Pembrokeshire National Park means that its beauty is protected. Cows, ponies and sheep graze peacefully in nearby fields, and there are some delightful goats in a neighbouring farm (The Preseli Mohair Centre).
